About Me

 Hello! My name is Ida Cuttler. I am a theater artist, writer, and educator currently pursuing her MFA in Playwriting at Yale University (DGSD Class of ‘25).  I was an ensemble member of the Chicago Neo-Futurists from 2015 to 2022 and a graduate of University of California Los Angeles, School of Theater Film and Television (2013) My original plays have appeared at The Neo-futurists,  Links Hall, Wooly Mammoth Theater Festival (DC), and Theater On The Lake. In my work as an educator, I guide people of all ages and abilities to experiment with non-illusory performance and autobiographical writing. I have taught with the Yale College, The Chicago Neo-Futurists, Columbia College, Northwestern University, and in the Chicago Public School District.  In 2020, Ida  circumnavigated Lake Michigan on a bicycle.
